Some quick updates before getting into the topic of the day:
On December 14 we start the next monthly clashes where you can use the new heroes and cards from Unforgotten.
If you already know what a Monthly Clash is... here are the sign-up links:
If you don't know what a Monthly Clash is... let me fill you in! :)
The Monthly Clashes are the foundation of our online organized play program, as they give you a chance to play one game per week through the Tabletop Simulator software... that look like this:
Here you can see a tutorial on how to use Tabletop Simulator with Skytear.
There are no entrance fees nor prizes for Monthly Clashes.
The goal is just to play Skytear and have a good time together!
If you sign up, each week for 4 weeks you receive the new pairings by email and you have 7 days to schedule a time and play a match on the current clash battlefield.
To help you find a time to play with your opponent, we split participants in two groups based on timezones (Europe and the Americas).
This is the perfect chance to get your first games of Skytear, no previous experience required!
The Swiss pairing system means that you will end up facing opponents of your level and we are also working on a ranking system to help match people of the same level.
You do not need to build a deck to join! From within Tabletop Simulator you will find a list of pre-made decks you can spawn with 1 click (see image below). These are the same decks you find here under the PRESETS tab: https://community.playskytear.com/decks
Finally, if you feel like you need additional assistance you can come on Discord and tag @tutor to request an intro game, they might be able to help you!
Are you sold on joining? Here are the links for the 2 regions:
Just create an account on the community website, click JOIN, and you will receive an email on December 14 for week 1 pairings!
That's all for this week.
Happy gaming,
Giacomo

Dear friend of Skytear Games, Did you play any great new (or old) game recently? Over here, I just re-discovered Toy Battle, a quick and fierce 2-player game from Paolo Mori. Anyway... Dicequest crowdfunding ended last week and... THANK YOU! Now we're working hard to deliver Dicequest in just about 6 months. But Today newsletter is about Twisted, the solo and co-op expansion for Onward. This April, we'll crowdfund it on Gamefound: https://gamefound.com/en/projects/skytear/onward-twisted...
Dear friend of Skytear Games, If you are one of the 2000+ humans who already backed Dicequest... thank you! Otherwise, you have about 48 hours left to get Dicequest on Gamefound and save up to $31. (Will this timer work? Who knows ;)) You can get Dicequest for as little as 3 monthly $12 payments. Or "splurge" with the fancy deluxe all-in for just $22 more. Learn more at gamefound.com/projects/skytear/dicequest Back Dicequest now, get it in 6 months!
Dear friend,I'll keep this simple: we're live with the crowdfunding of Dicequest! It is our "dice pool builder" for 1–4 players, 45 minutes, ages 10+, where YOU forge your fate.(I.e. luck plays a role, but it does not play in your place!) Jochen designed it to have game to play with his kids that was crunchy enough for gamers/geeks too. You can get it with just three €10 monthly installments. Or a bit more for the fancy deluxe edition. Please back Dicequest now on Gamefound and spread the word...
