Play with the new heroes and cards, join the Unforgotten Monthly Clash

Some quick updates before getting into the topic of the day:

  • The release date for Unforgotten has been pushed back one week to December 10 due to logistic issues.
The stock is in our warehouses and we expect to start shipping on Monday to anyone who pre-ordered (with the exclusion of Canada, that is 2 weeks behind).
  • Outsiders Only podcast episode 57 interviewed wiwwt aka Eric, head of 2021 organized play.
They talked about the World Series and the upcoming grand finals, and revealed some cards from the Unforgotten expansion (see below!).
  • Skytear Horde has its -super very basic- Kickstarter draft. If you feel diligent you can visit it and click on "Notify me on launch".
In a few weeks we plan to share the actual Kickstarter page with all contents for your precious feedback.
  • All cards from Unforgotten have been revealed by now!
You can see them all together in the product page here.

Join the Unforgotten Monthly Clash

On December 14 we start the next monthly clashes where you can use the new heroes and cards from Unforgotten.

If you already know what a Monthly Clash is... here are the sign-up links:

If you don't know what a Monthly Clash is... let me fill you in! :)

The Monthly Clashes are the foundation of our online organized play program, as they give you a chance to play one game per week through the Tabletop Simulator software... that look like this:

Here you can see a tutorial on how to use Tabletop Simulator with Skytear.

There are no entrance fees nor prizes for Monthly Clashes.

The goal is just to play Skytear and have a good time together!

If you sign up, each week for 4 weeks you receive the new pairings by email and you have 7 days to schedule a time and play a match on the current clash battlefield.

To help you find a time to play with your opponent, we split participants in two groups based on timezones (Europe and the Americas).

This is the perfect chance to get your first games of Skytear, no previous experience required!

The Swiss pairing system means that you will end up facing opponents of your level and we are also working on a ranking system to help match people of the same level.

You do not need to build a deck to join! From within Tabletop Simulator you will find a list of pre-made decks you can spawn with 1 click (see image below). These are the same decks you find here under the PRESETS tab: https://community.playskytear.com/decks

Finally, if you feel like you need additional assistance you can come on Discord and tag @tutor to request an intro game, they might be able to help you!

Are you sold on joining? Here are the links for the 2 regions:

Just create an account on the community website, click JOIN, and you will receive an email on December 14 for week 1 pairings!

That's all for this week.
Happy gaming,
Giacomo
